Where can I get more information about the different license Types of Profis Engineering?
How can I purchase HILTI software online?
On the PROFIS Engineering product page our customers can start PROFIS Engineering Trial software with premium features available for 30 days.
After 30 days there is the option to either opt for the PROFIS Engineering Standard license with basic features free of charge or Premium license with premium features.
Our customers can directly buy PROFIS Engineering Premium license on Hilti website.
How can I find the subscription portal?
what can i do -as the subscription admin- in the subscription portal?
In the Subscription Portal under the tab “Manage Subscription” the Subscription Admin can manage the following:
- transfer admin rights of the subscription to another admin
- change license type or license quantity
- change purchase order number
- change payment method (if available in your MO)
- read software and service agreement
- cancel your subscription for the next renewal
How can I access Profis engineering through the subscription portal?
- As a Subscription Admin you can go to the software directly from the Subscription Portal.
- Click on ‘Software Login’ in the top right corner and you will be redirected to your PROFIS Engineering account.
How can I add users to give software access?
In the subscription portal click on the “Manage Users” tab. If you want to add new users who should be able to use the software in its premium version, click on ‘Add user’, giving details like ‘email’, ‘name’ etc.
- The user added by the Admin gets invited to use the software via an email.
- This user can access the software by following the link in the email received. If the user does not have Hilti credentials the user needs to create these to use the software.
How can I add several users at once?
In the subscription portal under “Manage users” tab its possible to add several users at once. Please follow the steps described below:
1.Go to the “Manage Users” tab in the subscription portal.
2.In the bottom right corner click on the “Add User” button.
3.A pop-up window opens. There select the option “Multiple users”.
4.Then click on “Continue”.
5.Here a CSV or XLSX template can be downloaded that contains required data structure.
6.The file must be filled out and needs to be uploaded. For the upload click on “Drop file here”.
11.A window opens where the contact information is displayed. Enter the missing and correct information and click on “Save”. Complete this step for all incomplete contacts.
12.If any duplicates were found a message is displayed at the bottom of the page. Please note that duplicates are removed and not processed.

How can I re-invite users to give software access?
In the subscription portal under the “Manage Users” tab you can re-invite users who want to use the software by clicking on ‘Re-invite users’.
You can select the user’s email whom you want to re-invite. You can also ‘Filter’ a specific email/name and/or ‘Select all’ users you are willing to re-invite.
How can I Remove users to empty license seats?
How can I increase or decrease my license quantity under my subscription?
How can I change (upgrade) my license type?
In the subscription portal under “Manage subscription” tab you can upgrade your subscription from Individual to Floating. Please follow the steps described in the next section:
How can I cancel my subscription?
3.In the bottom left click on Cancel Subscription and select the reason of cancelation for feedback reasons à Your subscription access will be terminated for the next term (e.g. next year if you pay yearly).
