I need to carry out a pull test however your technical data sheet has me a little confused. Can you confirm in a concrete beam what kN resistance a HST3 wedge anchor M12 should resist? Thannks

Dear Hilti, if I'm installing posts next to each other, the post has 4 No. fixing one in each corner, what is the minimum distance i can have between fixings between each post? The fixing are M12 resin anchor, Hilti HY-200

We are working on a project where we are planning to use HAS-U M10 rods in conjunction with HY-270 resin to secure curtain walling into a sandstone substrate, with 100mm of embedment. There is uncertainty on the allowable edge distance and spacing of the anchors into good-quality sandstone, as this substrate is not shown in y...

I am trying to design a baseplate to attach a horizontal PFC rail to a brick wall. I need more than 4 M12 anchors it would seem, due to local brick failure, but I can't see in the Profis software where to generate a custom arrangement. Can you advise please?

Hi, What are the setting and hole drilling details for Hilti chemical anchors. I am specifying M24 (8.8) HIT-RE 500 V4 + HAS-U anchors with an embedment of 450mm. What is the required hole diameter to be drilling into the concrete and what are the minimum edge distances to base plate and edge distance of concrete base material...

Designing an endplate for a simply supported beam connecting to an existing RC T-column, reinforcement shown below. Shear ULS reaction = 252kN. I keep getting a concrete edge breakout failure and am struggling to come up with an arrangement that would allow it to pass. I am not that familiar with the software, so would appreci...

Hi, I would like to understand if there is availability for the anchor below as I received a notification that it is a non standard item and I do need to check the availability. I am specifying this anchor type. HIT-RE 500 V4 (100 years) + HAS-U 8.8 HDG M24 with 450mm embedment, also can I ask what is the difference between t...

Is it possible to move the location of supplementary tension reinforcement in the Profis design software? It is currently clashing with an anchor location and I am unable to move it. Adjusting the spacing only moves it in the opposite direction.

Hi Hilti, I have used Hilti profis to do a plate check. The plate experiences shear eccentric to the fixture. I have attached the file to this query. My questions are: For the shear edge failure (§4.3 in calculation) how is the Ved calculated? My interpretation of BS EN 1992-1-2 §7.2.2.5 is that only the fasteners closest t...

Hi, I'd like to ask if it is possible to set up a bespoke anchor configuration in the HILTI PROFIS software for masonry fixing application. I notice that there are 3 configurations available, but would like to set up a different layout (say 4 rows of fixings, each row has 5 fixings at 200mm spacing). Thank you!
