if I'm installing posts next to each other, the post has 4 No. fixing one in each corner, what is the minimum distance i can have between fixings between each post?
The fixing are M12 resin anchor, Hilti HY-200
Thank you for your enquiry, it will depend upon the loads that both sets of anchors are required to resist within the base material. If you have Profis Engineering you may wish to check it using a baseplate with 8 number anchors with the load summed for both baseplates and, check that the load is accurately distributed amongst the group. Alternatively depending upon the loads, you may wish to create an edge in the PE model next to your group of 4 establish what the min edge is to resist your load requirements for the highest loaded baseplates then double that min edge to act as the minimum spacing.
