Why am I limited to an arrangement of max 4 anchors when designing a baseplate into masonry using Profis?
I am trying to design a baseplate to attach a horizontal PFC rail to a brick wall. I need more than 4 M12 anchors it would seem, due to local brick failure, but I can't see in the Profis software where to generate a custom arrangement. Can you advise please?

Thanks for your question, PROFIS Engineering follows the current design code for resin anchors (TR054) within masonry structures therefore the anchor arrangement is limited to 1 , 2 or 4 anchor layouts with no option to customise outside of this criterion. Of course, you are liberty, to review the technical published data for the HY270 and use your own engineering judgement based upon your knowledge of the masonry structure to produce a workable solution outside of the design code.
