Features & Applications

Features

  • Seal new and existing cables – modular, split design is easier to fit around existing trefoil cables
  • Fire and flood protection – one plug seal providing fire-rated cable penetrations and extremely high water resistance
  • Easier to specify – you can rely on CFS-T RR3 plug seals for most common high-voltage cable sizes up to 78 mm in a trefoil arrangement
  • Easier to inspect – colour-coded adapters matched to specific cable diameters show at a glance that the installed plug seals are within allowed tolerances

Applications

  • Sealing GIS substation basements (gas-insulated, high-voltage switchgear) against water and fire
  • Long-lasting resistance to flood, fire, rodent and humidity damage in substation basements
  • Sealing cable penetrations entering below ground via foundations
