I keep getting the error message: 'Submerged / underwater holes, cracked concrete, and diamond core drilling with roughening are not approved together'. All changes I made did not get rid off this message, all except for when I changed the hole type back to dry or wet. However the project I am working on is a steel-concrete anchors roughly 10 meters deep at sea and it is essential to calculate with submerged conditions.
Thank you for your enquiry, however there is no error in the software IT is simply following the approval for the RE500V4 which states the following in ETA 20/0541 pg 13 Installation • Use category: dry or wet concrete (not in water-filled drill holes): for all drilling techniques. • Water-filled drill holes: for hammer drilling only, for uncracked concrete only.
Therefore installation combinations outside of the approval are not listed in the ETA or allowable within the software as Profis Engineering follows EC2 PT4 and the appropriate ETA. I would however suggest you contact your local HILTI office to discuss your specific application in further detail.
