I ma looking for some rock anchors for a design to connect some meshing to some piles on an excavation to minimise rock fall. Max. loading would be about 6kN on the anchors and the offset would be about 70mm from the surface of the concrete. I have used the software but there were a number of potential options which passed in the analysis (such as HSL-3-R), but which would you recommend?
Thank you for your enquiry however we do not supply ground / rock anchors. We do supply post installed fixings for concrete and masonry structures and it would be your decision regarding the suitability of the anchor for the application. Our anchors are available in different materials and have various approvals for static, quasi static, shock, fatique, dynamic, seismic loading conditions etc If you were selecting a post installed fixing you would need to consider environmental factors, type of loading, load direction ,that the anchor would be subject too. Using the Profis Engineering software would help you with an anchor design in this instance.
Thank you for your reply, I meant to say a fixings for concrete. When using the software we found limited options for different embedment lengths and fixing diameters. We are thinking of choosing a HILTI Screw Anchor HUS4-H 10x180 with Min. 95mm Embedment. Would I be able to get the technical data sheet for this in order to confirm its application for our use?
So this is the technical data sheet for the HUS 4 anchor
