Timber Fixings/Connection
Hi there, I am looking to provide a connection between a steel plate and timber frame. Max. shear load is 0.14 kN, there is no moment. Could you advise what you recommend.

Thanks for your question , please find attached the ETA for the S-MDW 51S 6.5 X 60 screws in timber studs as a potential option. Please page 102, Annex 90 provides Characteristic values for shear (VRK) based upon C24 graded timber. Please refer to the documents preamble regarding appropriate material and partial load safety factors .
