TE 6-A36 Operation

Device operation of TE 6-A36

Hi,bought a second hand TE 6-A36 the switch mode marking have worn out with age,it drills and hammer drills fine,but I can't get it to chisel. In the chisel position it still rotates the tool. The manual provided with the drill does indicate chisel function.,Can you adivise?
