sustained loads input

i see that when i enter sustained loads that are more than 60% of the design loads the capacity is not reduced, utilizations stay the same. is it not supposed to be reduced up to 40% between sustained loads that are 60-100% of the design load? thanks

Thank you for your question regarding Profis Engineering. Depending upon the adhesive anchor type selected then please check the message panel on the right-hand side of the screen. You should see a warning message 'Sustained load values must be less than or equal to design load values and have the same direction'. You will also notice there is also a further notification warning message below regarding the design results.

Hi again, just so it is more clear, anchor HVU2 HAS U, LC1: Nd=25kN, bond=97%, concrete (shear cone)=81%, LC2: Nd=25kN and N,sustained=25kN, bond=97%, concrete (shear cone)=81% my question is why wasn`t the capacity in LC2 been reduced compared to LC1 due to 100% of the load being sustained in LC2? thanks.

Thanks for the follow up information however it doesn't confirm what arrangement you have modelled. For example I've attached two pdf's where a load without a sustained value has been modelled and the second with using your loads. I don't get the same results as your comment as I don't see what you have originally modelled. I'd suggest in this case you export your Profis file and email it to your local HILTI office for them to look into your enquiry in further detail.
