We have to drill and resin fixing 12mm dia. reinforcement bars (U-shape) into a bridge deck upstand which is close to an expansion joint, hence facing cyclic dynamic loading due to vehicle running. We don't expect any tension to be generated in the anchored bars, but still wanted to double check if there is any suitable resinous material from Hilti is available, that function well under dynamic loading
Thank you for your question, yes our injection resins such as the HY200A ,HY200R mortars and RE500V4 epoxy can be utilised for fatigue / dynamic applications in anchoring and rebar applications. Depending upon your selected design approach you can utilise the Dynamic / Fatigue options with the HILTI software's programs that are available . If you prefer to calculate by hand you will also find the relevant design data online on your local HILTI website under technical documents and product approvals.
