I am looking to design a steel to concrete moment connection which will be a post fixed connection.
I attach you the current calculation so you can have a look. In more detail, a steel beam UC section is fixed to an RC column (400x400) and this steel beam acts as a cantilever, fully fixed to the column therefore the connection will be a moment connection.
I have tried many cases but still the anchors fail. The max moment Mx=70kNm and the shear load Vy=-85kN. Could you please have a look and let me know if we can make it work with an alternative arrangement?
