Single anchor construction cannot be used with torsion.

Hi I am currently looking at some holding down bolts for a sandfilter, each filter has 4 legs, each baseplate has one hole only. The software won't let me calculate results as it says "Single anchor construction cannot be used with torsion." Is there anyway around this?

Thanks for the question problem you have in this scenario is the eccentricity of the shear force being applied to the single anchor. You would need to either introduce a 2nd fastener on the baseplate or look at removing / dealing with the shear using a different approach such as a shear lug for example with the post installed anchor just being subjected to the tensile load.
