Thank you for your question. The preferred solution for anchoring into masonry and natural stone would be a chemical anchor- the HY270 was developed specifically for masonry applications. We have no published data for mechanical anchors into stone or masonry units typically found within the UK.
The performance of any anchoring system is very much limited by the base material itself and given the huge variation in types it is impossible to test every one. BS8539:2012 is a useful document as it provides details regarding anchor design and also fixings into masonry including testing regimes to establish allowable resistances in the absence of published manufacturer data.
