Resin Anchors in 7N/mm2 Blockwork

Good morning,

Is there any way to design resin anchors in 100mm thick 7N/mm2 blockwork using the PROFIS software? Or by other means?

Thanks for your enquiry, currently that solid block block doesn't have any data available which would testing in accordance with BS8539:2012 to establish the allowable resistance's.

Do you know how we would get fixings tested in this strength blockwork? It would be a very useful material to have data for as it is so widely used in the UK. Thanks

Thanks for the query couple of options you could speak with your local HILTI office and arrange something with them or as you are in the UK there is also the option of using an independent CFA (The Construction Fixings Association) certified testing company.
