Hi - I'm looking for a suitable product to infill drilled holes into structural RC elements that will reinstate them, near to post fix Hilti anchors - do you have any products that would work and can be 'gunned in'?
Thanks
Thank you for your question Richard Mayo,
According to EN 1992-4 Annex F.2.6 “Aborted or unused drill holes are filled with non-shrinkage mortar with a strength at least equal to the base material and ≥ 40 N/mm2.” Our mortars such HIT-HY 200 and HIT-RE 500 have a compressive strength way higher than 40 MPa but they are in fact slightly shrinking. Many customers are using our mortars for this purpose because they are very simple to be “gunned in”. But it is in fact not recommended according to EN 1992-4.
Hi, thanks for your response.
Could you provide some suitable product(s) to fill sustainably aborted/unused /abandoned drill holes please?
Thanks & regards
