Proof test loads
Hi, I have specified a HIT HY200A HAS-U M16 anchor in an insitu RC pad foundation. We would like the contractor to carry out a proof test for tension pull-out to confirm the anchors have been correctly installed. Is there any guidance on what this load should be if the maximum design tension load = 35kN? Thanks

Thank you for your enquiry, depending where you are I suggest checking with your local standards office for example in GB there is BS8539:2012 and also an Onsite testing guidance note published by The Construction Fixings Association.
