I find the project title/header arrangement rather bizarre - why do you have a category called, 'Fastening point'? Similarly, 'Design name' seems to default to the assessment that you select, i.e Concrete, masonry or Draft, so that when you go to Generate Report, it has already been designated - could we not have more commonly used headings, such as: 'Project', '
'Element', 'Job no.', 'Part of structure', for example? If we are not ready to generate a pdf report, how do we set up a file system within Profis?
Thank you for your enquiry. I’m assuming you are referring to the Profis Engineering software. You are easily able to edit the Design Name by just overtyping or indeed just by deleting it. In relation to the Fastening Point this has been utilised previously to identify the fixing is back to a soffit or wall and not just a base slab.
There is also the Project tab below the Design Name where you can create a project.
If you do not wish to create a pdf report, you can of course create a template for your files or export the file to a directory. I would suggest consulting with the user manual regarding further options. This can be found by clicking on the three vertical dots next to the wording Profis Engineering. A pop-up box will appear with one of the options being the User Manual.
