I am looking to use the Hilti software to design fixings for a steel PFC fixed to a wall, with several Hilti anchors throughout the channel length. I recall doing this in the past but can't seem to in the latest version of the software. Can anybody help?
Thank you for your question, it hasn't been possible to undertake that type of a connection arrangement in masonry but is possible in concrete maybe you have modelled it previously in that material. Going back to your question the software is following ETAG 029 Metal injection anchors for use in masonry which currently limits the anchor arrangement to 1, 2 or 4 bolt pattern - Note not 4 in a straight line. Of course, you are liberty, to take an engineering judgement based upon your knowledge of the masonry structure and whether it is capable of resisting the load you wish to apply. You could run a check for a pair of anchors based upon a pro rata load to see if the structure can resist the load.
