Maximum Torque Values given in Hilti output

A subcontrator drawing shows a much greater value for torque (700Nm) to be applied to the specified Hilti anchors than is shown in the Hilti output (300Nm for one type, and 110Nm for another). Is there a justification for this? Are the values given in the Hilti report based on various assumed minimums such as edge distance, so that if edges are not close to anchors, the max torque value may be higher? Please advise if there is a way that the value of 700Nm could be correct.

Dear Laura,

Each anchor has a unique specified maximum torque applicable, which you can find under the latest product ETA in our Hilti website. This does not change depending on anchor spacing or edge distance since the minimum edge distance is a mandatory requirement for installation, and that is the one considered on our test data but nothing below that.

If value for the same anchors differ, I would suggest to refer to correct value given by the anchor ETA as mentioned above.
