Lifting eye chemi anchor

I am cutting a 2m x 2m aperture through a 1m thick suspended concrete slab, the estimated weight of the concrete is 9.6ton. I would like to chemically anchor in lifting eyes for our crane to lift the block out and avoid the 5m drop below, please can you advise what the best product to use is and its strength so i can order the correct number of lifting eyes

Re : Hilti products and lifting applications

Thank you for your enquiry. We appreciate the confidence you have shown in our products and service by choosing us as your supplier. As a company, whilst we do not supply lifting components, we do supply anchorages to resist a certain applied load and it is up to you as the customer to decide if this resistance is suitable for your purpose.

You will find the design data for our fastening on your website to enable you to undertake a design check. Alternatively, you could sign up for the Profis Engineering software and use that to run your design.

Lifting eyes and other components should be sourced from a specialist company.

Please note that for safety critical applications we strongly recommend proof loading.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any additional information or advice. We hope you will continue to work with Hilti and our products in future
