Hilti PROFIS software

Good morning,

I am a structural engineer currently designing an M12 anchor bolt fixed to a cavity wall, which is constructed with two layers of 100mm-thick blockwork (7.3N/mm² strength).

When selecting the blockwork in the software, I can see the 440x215x100mm blockwork option. However, the minimum strength allowed by the software for these blockwork is 14N/mm². If I use concrete bricks with a strength of 7N/mm², the results appear quite conservative, likely because these bricks are smaller in size than the blockwork we are using.

Is there any possibility of using 7N/mm² normal-weight blockwork with dimensions of 440x215x100mm in the analysis?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Thank you for contacting us, unfortunately the software is constrained by masonry units we have existing test data for, therefore there is not the flexibility to adapt sizes of units.
