HILTI Profis not allowing Anchor Layout

Thanks for the PE file it clarified a few thing in terms of what you were trying to model that I couldn't quite see from the original screen. Ok in terms of diameter of cast in anchors the software is limited to a maximum of M24 your M30 comment was what had thrown me. Now in relation to the model then whilst it is possible to use the filled hole option the design method remains under EN1992 Pt 4 which has the following restrictions in relation to the anchor arrangement whether it is cast in or post installed . I have attached a revised PE indicating what is possible with cast in but as can be seen it falls short. I also ran a 2nd check with supplementary reinforcement but again it comes in short. I'd actually be tempted to look at splitting this detail into a shear lug and using post installed anchors to accommodate the tensile load only, where you can use M30 anchors with an embedment up to 600mm and with without the supplementary reinforcement option.

Thanks for your question, assuming you have your Profis Engineering set up to follow Eurocode 2 Part 4 for post installed anchor design and, within the code it stipulates the allowed anchor arrangements. Please see Section 1.2 Type of Fasteners and fastening groups and, from reviewing your screenshot you are not compliant however you should have had an option to change to SOFA / filled holes which allows for calculations as extension of EC2 PT4 for non code compliant cases. You can see when this has been selected as a 'ring' representing a filled clearance hole appears around the anchor.
