Hello everyone. I am currently looking at a project where a client is looking to secure metal panels, or similar, onto old ruins. These look to be aged masonry - weathered and exposed to the elements due to being a ruin. I am wondering if any one has had any success using a Hilti product in a similar situation?

We can offer multiple chemical fixing solutions to fix metal panel substructure onto masonry wall. However this looks like being a non-standard application which might need a better understanding of base material characteristics, loads applied and corrosion resistance required. Most likely some On-site testing will be necessary to ascertain the 'compressive strength' of the masonry wall, so following the guidelines of Construction Fixings Association.
