Please refer to the attached sketch. The 180 x 300 deep Bath stone lintel is being supplied in 2 sections to span a 2m wide opening. A structural engineer has designed the steel angle as a reliving lintel over so this will both carry the load and join the 2 sections of stone lintel. The steel angle therefore needs to be fixed to the stonework and the SE has noted resined Hilti fixings, but has not specified size, c/cs or length required in order to resist pull out capacity.
