Fixing into 10N blockwork reveal, 10mm wide
Hello, our client wants to fix a balustrade bracket into a 100mm wide 10N concrete block wall (440x215x100mm blocks) using a pair of countersunk M8 HUS type anchors. Have you got any solution that would be suitable for this scenario? The loads are 0.75kN vertical and horixontal shear and 0.55kNm bending both ways.

Thank you for your enquiry however we have no published technical data for mechanical fixings into UK masonry blockwork only resin HY270 datasheet uploaded. Whilst it may be physically possible to install your fixings you would need to test in accordance with BS8539:2012 to establish the allowable resistances.
