When opening a previous Project file the message shown on the attached clip appears. Saying "the anchor selected is no longer available and has been changed in the design?" The only thing that has changed seems to be the actual embedment length. (Was 85mm specified by us, now 79mm). Can you confirm
1) the Anchor specified is available HST3-R M16 85mm embedment
2) explain why the embedment has changed and 85mm cannot be specified please?
Thank you for your question. I believe your query relates to the change in the European Technical Assessment 98/0001 May 2021 where the HST3-R now allows for a more ‘flexible’ embedment depth range than previously. Please see table B9 of the ETA linked document in the software.
I’m assuming your previous design was carried out prior to the update and utilised the optimised embedment depth function. When your design has been transferred into the current Profis Engineering software it has simply rerun the calculation using the new ETA data and produced a slightly reduced hef value. You can of course, activate the User selected embedment depth function and revert back to the original 85mm if desired. Therefore, to clarify the software is performing as it should.
