Concrete Edge failure parameters - Applied Torsional Loading Only.
I am trying to establish how the concrete edge failure checks are achieved in the software. It derives many parameters Ac,v / alpha_v / ec,V and it is not clear how these are established and what anchors are involved in the edge breakout when only torsional loading is applied. If anyone can provide greater insight it would be appreciated.

Hi Richard,
When you apply a torsion moment to the baseplate this will affect the anchors producing shear loads in both direction, on the report in page 2 you can find the resultant shear force in each direction.
Regarding the parameters description for concrete edge breakout, my recommendation is to look at EN 1992-4 which explain in details how they are calculated.
