Thank you for your enquiry, to remove the baseplate from the design simply click the Baseplate Icon when you have your model open and, under the Baseplate Shape header you will see an icon, square baseplate with a line at 45 deg passing through it and all you need to do is select that icon.

Hi, You've actually answered your own question . The steps mentioned before are valid however you would need to change the baseplate analysis from CBFEM to Rigid . You can do this under the load tab Icon for this is the two down arrows on the horizontal line and at the top you will see Advanced Calculation Type and a drop down box.
