My name is Devrim Akyuz and I’m responsible at Hilti (GB) for Product Marketing. I’ve been with Hilti 17 years and worked in various functions at Headquarters as well as in our Singapore sales organisation. In this post I’m delighted to share the news that Hilti (GB) has been declared winner of the Construction News Specialists Awards in the ‘Equipment Supplier of the Year’ category during Wednesday night’s awards ceremony held in London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
Construction News is the leading print and online title for the UK construction market and its annual Specialists Awards are run across 18 categories. Hilti was shortlisted in the ‘Equipment Supplier of the Year’ category a second year running and thus invited to make a presentation in January to a group of judges selected among the 60+ senior industry experts that make up the panel. Based on last year’s learnings, I decided to talk not only about our innovative products which are our obvious tangible touch-points, but also our highly-differentiated ON!Track asset management service. Beyond that, it was in my opinion key to also talk about what I strongly believe makes us who we are: the power of Hilti, the ability we have to pool resources globally across our diverse teams to offer our customers highly-tailored solutions that drive not only productivity but operator health and safety.
